EVENT: FEISTY PRESENTS (OOC INFO)

Good evening, everyone, and Merry Christmas! Our first event will see the introduction of our newest NPC, an Inventor by the name of Tin Kay. Presently, she needs every hand she can get in the city to help round up all the robots she'd created, currently overcharged by a surge of Ellenium and out of control. For those who help here, there WILL be an OOC reward, and if enough people participate, an area that will lead to further development in potentially fixing Veloxia for the first time may be unlocked.

So here's how this works: there are several steamanimals of each kind Tin has made that have escaped. Your character needs to bring them back to her in the Factory District, so she can disable them. Once all the animals are brought back, then the final phase of the event will begin. Tin has sent a map and a tracking device to everyone's Steamgears. Each animal can be identified by a green dot on your Steamgear's map, and a name above it.

THERE ARE A TOTAL OF 19 STEAM ANIMALS THAT CAN BE FOUND:

- The Steam monkey is in the nearby woods outside the city, in the trees.
- The Steam cats, a bronze one and a silver one, are wandering around in the Merchant Quarter near an old bakery.
- The Steam dogs can be found near Veloxia's Tower (silver), the factory district (gold), on the half opposite of Tin, and in the residental quarter (bronze).
- The steam rabbits are spread out between each area, with one in each quarter. There are a total of five silver steam rabbits.
- The steam spiders are currently hanging out all over the walls of Veloxia's tower, near the ground. One is inside the tower itself. There is a total of three.
- The steam bee's colony can be found buzzing around at the very top of Veloxia's tower, on the roof. Their queen will need to be taken, or the bees will attempt to attack any intruders, so be careful. They do not have stingers, but they can still ram you for a pretty sizeable amount of pain, given each bee is the size of an average's person's hand. The queen is the size of a large cat.
- The steam ant colony is presently attempting to carry away large objects in the Merchant's Quarter. There are a total of three ants scattered throughout it.
- The steam fox can be found inside the Arts Quarter, near an abandoned painting studio. It is silver, and the most difficult of the animals to catch.

You may comment to the thread below (as soon as I get them up) on this post for which animal(s) your character(s) will be going after. Please keep it to no more than two animals per character. The bees and queen count as one individual animal. Once all the animals have been accounted for, a Network post will be put up by Tin herself. You may organize yourself in this post, or anywhere else you like. While it isn't required you thread out catching the animals, it WOULD be encouraged that you do. The actual animal wrangling will be on the open log.

Suruga will be tasked with catching one of the three Steam Ants in the merchant's quarter. This one is attempting to steal large pieces of metal from a nearby abandoned store. Attempting to remove the ant's payload may get cause it to become aggressive, and it's quite a heavy thing, so she may want to bring a friend.

Kachessa will be tasked with catching one of the Steam Spiders currently making a copper-wiring web on the rightmost side of Veloxia's tower. The spiders are aggressive if removal is attempted, but not poisonous, and extricating it from the web WON'T be easy. It may bite the one attempting to remove it.

Haruka will be tasked with catching the single Steam Monkey that is currently making a mess in a tree outside the city, near the residential district. She will need to climb the tree in order to retrieve it, but the monkey is likely to throw pinecones at her during this, and is rather fast, so she may want help.

Rochelle will be tasked with catching the third Steam Ant that is stealing furniture from an old store in the merchant quarter. Attempting to remove the ant's payload may get cause it to become aggressive, and it's quite a heavy thing, so she may want to bring a friend.

Levi will be tasked with catching one of the Steam Spiders currently making a copper-wiring web inside the break room of Veloxia's tower. The spiders are aggressive if removal is attempted, but not poisonous, and extricating it from the web WON'T be easy. It may bite the one attempting to remove it. This one in particular is a "female", and thus the largest of the spiders--it is the size of a medium-sized dog, such as a basset hound. By the time Levi gets there, most of entrance to the room is tangled with copper wiring, and it will need removing before you can get further inside. Good luck!

Laguna will be tasked with finding the colony of Steam Bees and their Queen. A large hive is being built out of wires and metal atop Veloxia's tower, on the roof--they are extremely territorial, and will only stop attacking someone if their Queen is taken. However, the Queen is the size of a large cat and will put up a struggle herself while her fist-sized workers attempt to plow into anyone trying to take her, so extreme caution would be advised. Laguna may want to bring SEVERAL friends, in this case; it won't be easy.

There are ten bees in all, and one Queen.

Fela will be tasked with catching the single Silver Steam Fox that is presently attempting to track the Steam Rabbit that wandered into the Arts Quarter. At present, the fox is exploring the abandoned painting studio there--but be very careful. The smartest of the lot, the fox is quick to flee and very insistent on NOT being captured. However, if it sights its prey, it is unlikely to stop chasing it. She may want to bring help. Good luck!
